Lorraine Wiseman Featured Speaker at The Protocol School of Washington Global Education Summit

At the Global Education Summit hosted by The Protocol School of Washington, executive coach and author Dr. Lorraine Wiseman served as a speaker on self-awareness and personal growth.

With a theme of "Protocol Revealed: Cultivating Human Connections through Diplomacy, Leadership & Civility", the Summit took place at a time when soft skills had become increasingly crucial to the success of business professionals, enterprise leaders, international diplomats, and government officials. According to Deloitte, 92 percent of companies say that soft skills matter "as much or more than hard skills in today's business world."

The four-day event offered every five years provided a unique opportunity for attendees to immerse themselves in educational programming featuring renowned industry experts, all focused on the crucial aspects of leadership, global diplomacy, emotional intelligence, civility, and relationship building. Participants engaged in hands-on learning experiences, attended keynote sessions led by subject matter experts, and participated in authentic networking opportunities that emphasize sharing resources and building professional relationships.

As one of the key thought leaders selected to present, Dr. Wiseman invited attendees in her presentation to conduct a self-assessment with the “CSI: Change Style Indicator”. The talk highlighted how attendees could conduct this exercise both at the event and more thoroughly on their own afterwards and gain insights that could help them to improve and change their leadership style by better understanding where it originated from in the first place.
